Meet the 2023 - 2024 SWE Officers!
President
Ana Alvarado
• Executes the business and policies of the organization and represents the chapter before the university and community.
• Makes the Corporate Sponsorship Booklet.
• Coordinating meetings with companies and other diversity organizations.
• Assists Treasurer with fundraiser/sponsorship proposal.
• Participates in SWE National Conference.
• Oversees WISE Committee head.
• Oversees the executive board
Vice President
Arushi Ghildiyal
• Leads meeting in the absence of the President.
• Completes conference proposals for the LSU Foundation & Student Government's Organizational Relief Fund for SWE's National Conference.
• Updates the Corporate Sponsorship Booklet.
• Serves as the overall WISE Chair.
• Assists in sponsorship proposals with the President and the Treasurer.
Treasurer
Abigail Peck
• Maintains budget with purchases and sponsor donations.
• Updates the President on funds in Campus Federal account.
• Responsible for t-shirt and polo order (placing, picking-up, and distribution).
• Assists the Vice President for all conference proposals.

Secretary
Sharonda Angelle
• Sends out weekly emails with updates from the CoE Diversity Office, the university, or organization(s).
• Updates the email list with TigerLink members and remove graduates.
• Writes thank you notes to the corporate representatives who host meetings.
Communications Chair
Lexi Garr
• Creates electronic flyers that wil be posted to social media and email blasts.
• Advertises all events on SWE's social media platforms prior to meetings and events.
• Takes pictures at every event and post to social media.
• Updates the SWE website with important events, scholarship opportunities, etc.

Membership Chair
Syndey Gotham
• Responsible for taking attendance at each meeting and/or point opportunity.
• Decides points needed per semester to be considered an active member.
• Chooses "Member of the Month".
• Plans the end-of-semester social event and mini awards ceremony for points.

Outreach Chair
Maya McGrath
• Organizes all volunteer and outreach events throughout LSU and the Baton Rouge community.
• Responsible for oganizing at least one outreach event per semester
• Updates the President and Secretary with any outreach opportunities offered through other student organizations.
• Updates the SWE website with important outreach and volunteer events, scholarship opportunities, etc.
Social Chair
Nnenna Eke
• Organizes all social events throughout the year that create a community among the members of the organization.
• Responsible for organizing at least one social event per semester.
